The annual Pensions & Investments’ Best Places to Work in Money Management award was given to Bailard in 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, and 2018. Pensions & Investments partnered with Best Companies Group. The San Francisco Chronicle Bay Area Top Workplaces is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. Released in August 2024, there were 34,036 Greater Bay Area employees surveyed by Energage with 117 winners among small, midsize, and large companies. Bailard ranked #2 out of 105 participants in the small company category of less than 149 employees in the region. Bailard ranked 90 out of 250 firms in the 2024 Forbes Top RIA Firms, announced in October 2024. The ranking, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on qualitative interviews and quantitative data, weighing factors such as revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, and industry experience. There were 46,212 nominations received, 25,103 invited to complete the online survey, and Bailard participated in one of 1,545 virtual interviews. The San Francisco Business Times Top 100 Bay Area Corporate Philanthropists is an annual award, given to Bailard by the San Francisco Business Times in July 2024, July 2023, July 2022, and July 2021. 100 firms appeared in the San Francisco Business Times list in 2024, 2023, 2022, and 2021. In 2024, Bailard ranked #71; in 2023, Bailard ranked #79; in 2022, Bailard ranked #82; in 2021, Bailard ranked #89. AdvisorHub’s RIAs to Watch was given in July of 2024. Nominees were required to have a minimum of seven years’ experience, $150 minimum AUM, and a clean regulatory record. Advisors were ranked on the 1) size and makeup of their practice; 2) year-over-year growth; 3) and professionalism. The Barron’s Top 100 RIAs is an annual ranking, announced in September 2024, September 2023, and September 2021 by Barron’s. Bailard ranked 88 out of 100 on the 2024 list; 99 on the 2023 list; and 98 on the 2021 list. The annual InvestmentNews Best Places to Work for Financial Advisors award was given to Bailard in 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, and 2020. Each year, the award was conducted in partnership with employee survey firm Best Companies Group. Pensions & Investments’ inaugural list of Influential Women in Institutional Investing was released in September 2023, with 65 honorees; to be eligible, women must be currently employed in institutional investing, have a minimum of 7 years of experience in the industry and demonstrate a measurable effect and results within one’s own workplace and within the industry. The Family Wealth Report Awards “Women in Wealth Advisory (Individual)” was given to Bailard’s CEO Sonya Mughal in 2023 and 2022. The Family Wealth Report Awards 2023 and 2022 judging process was conducted by expert panels and consisted of judges from family offices, private banks, trusted advisers, consultants, and other service providers, each of whom has in-depth knowledge and broad experience. The annual CNBC Financial Advisor 100 award was given to Bailard in 2022, 2021, 2020, and 2019. CNBC enlisted data provider AccuPoint Solutions to assist with delivering the CNBC FA 100 ranking of registered investment advisors. The ThinkAdvisor LUMINARIES award was given to Bailard’s CEO Sonya Mughal in November 2022. The LUMINARIES winners were selected by a distinguished and diverse panel of judges from across the advice industry, as well by the ThinkAdvisor editorial team.
